Unless, of course, you count having an absent, black father as the basis for being recognized by an entire race.  He was raised by white women.  W-H-I-T-E.  I think this makes him--EGADS!--biracial.  

Now what&#039;s wrong with calling him that?  Not black, or white...but &quot;tan,&quot; as my beloved nephew refers to himself.  This whole &quot;first black president&quot; thing has me flummoxed.  

And it certainly did not take an election for me to be able to tell my kids, &quot;Hey, you can do or be anything you want.&quot;  &#039;Cause God Himself tells us this...in His Word...which is where I find my identity.  I pray it&#039;s where the president-elect will find his identity, because apart from that, we are nothing.  Amen.

See how I kept it all nice and friendly?  Uber-conservatives can sometimes be that way.</description>
