And the weiner is….

Not there.  At least it wasn’t visible today.  And so, therefore, with all accompanying fanfare and flourish, we announce that Danny’s little brother is:  A GIRL!  (probably).

And boy is she bashful.  She wouldn’t show her face, and she didn’t much want to show her ‘area’, either (would you?).  The ultrasound tech said it was a girl, though, and showed us where the boy parts weren’t.

How else to celebrate discovering the probable gender of Danny’s little brother than with big fat yeast rolls at O’Charley’s?  We couldn’t think of a better way.  So we ordered some super healthy food (what the hell was that thing called, Joey?) and discussed girl names.  No decisions, but some good options.  If you want, contribute your best girl name idea.  Oh, and FYI:  Hawaiian rolls are old and busted; restaurant yeast pillows covered in butterlike product are the new hotness.

Congrats! Whether s/he ends up being a girl or not. Do you really want name suggestions? I was ticked when people would suggest names to me. Control issue. I’m working on it. If, however, I may butt in, I really like Reagan or Ashlyn ;)

Congratulations! I’d offer some girl name suggestions but I’m no good with them…. I’ve only ever been able to pick boy names! :)

Awe!!!! YEAH!!!! I am loving that the whole reverse wish deal worked for you!! I also love myself some O Charlies Yeast rolls. I buy them by the dozen and put ham and cheese in them for dinner some nights. When the rolls are still hot so the cheese melts in them. I am such a good cook. I also love the name Clare, so thats my name suggestion. Congrats again!!

Congrats to you, Joey and ‘lil bro, Danny! Girls are fun and a whole lot different than boys - THANK GOD! (j/k)/ I gave Joy so many girl names she probably ditched ‘em all right away…and she didn’t even need them nonetheless….
“C” names are coming to mind for some reason…..Courtney or Cassidy? I’m sure there’ll be more suggestions in the upcoming months from me - if you so desire.

show off the u/s pix when Joey gives ‘em up! =0)

It was a triple cheese, bacon cheeseburger. I ate all of it. Good job on baby making. You make good ones, based on our current ‘wahfoo’ eating son.

    I love you.

Congratulations Kelly!! You will LOVE having a little girl. :) The only name coming to my mind is my next girl name, so I”m not sharing. ;) I do check your blog from time to time, and enjoy your humor. Ya, the hormones with a girl are worse than a boy I’ve found….good luck. :)

Yeah!!! So happy for you! You had me fooled by your email thinking it was going to be a boy. Girls are so sweet…I wouldn’t trade Taylor for the world…or Joshua for that matter!! Names are so personal…one of my favorites was Lexi, but Doug wasn’t on board with it. We both loved Taylor, too, so it worked out. Hope you both decide on a name easily and harmoniously:) Take care and see you soon.

    Congratulations!!
I just had to get my 2 cents worth in?
    Rebecca Lynn
Please don’t name her Reagan, all I can think of when I hear that name is that mask the robbers used of Ronald Reagan.

What wonderful news - we’re thrilled for you! You’re definitely in for a treat! Let’s see…girl names…I always liked Carter and Sidney. But who am I to talk - I’m 4 weeks away and still don’t have a name! Good luck!

    This. Made. My. Day.

CONGRATULATIONS. I don’t care what you name her…I would just like you to give me her initials–not even the entire name–just the initials so that I can commence with the abundance of monogramming. I already have the big letter for the middle…so just give me the two that will go on either side of said personalization.

    (Is Ivy tickled pink?)
