You need to have those little iPod earphone things that you can just stick in your ears, even if you aren't listening to anything. I have only been able to stand in line to vote once. All other times have been by absentee ballot. I did wait in line for 4.5 hours WITH BOTH KIDS for the new iPhone. I know, doesn't carry the same weight or urgency, but still I did it. I brought lots of toys and food. Oooh, I hate talkative people in lines.
