he’s the one trying to fit all the toys in his diaper bag
as my twittering friends will already know, danny’s first day of “school” was yesterday. and by “school” i mean going to a church and hanging out with a couple of grandmother-type ladies and eight other two-year-olds for a few hours. it went well, i’ll say. he was not very into it when i dropped him off, but i checked on him a couple of times later and he was very busy optimizing his time with all the NEW. TOYS. after “orientation” i was released out into the world, and i had no idea what to do. it was some bizarre kind of paralysis. so, of course, i went and did what felt natural, which was to pay someone to beautify me, and then i went to the grocery store. when i came back to pick him up, he stopped what he was doing, said “MAMA” and tried to hand me a doll stroller that he felt we needed to bring home with us. here’s my big boy….thanks, michelle and mety, for being right there with me, and insisting i take this picture through the tiny window while we were spying on our three musketeers.

Awe, how cute. You get so used to a routine, you feel totally upside down when it changes. The best way is what you did: getting beautified!!! Good for you girl!

aw glad BOTH of you had a good first day. i hope that you will be getting danny a baby stroller. never too early to start building a sensitive man. seriously. oh, and make sure it’s pink. because i’m sure his wife will one day make him push a pink one.

he is just too adorable, and somehow his adorability increases when he doesn’t know anyone’s looking at him through a tiny window. i love him.

Do I hear that he might be using a (doll) stroller next year to push around a baby sister or brother?

As per usual, his curls slay me.
Heh-heh-hey…I said “slay.” In reference to your son.
