black lightning
it’s sobering when you see your own foibles in your children. like a vehicle addiction. we have six vehicles. now, before you mean ole internet predators try and figure out where we live so you can come steal all our stuff since we must be loaded, let me tell you: only two of them run. it’s not like jay leno’s stable of vintage automobiles, though some of our rides are plenty old enough to have seen better days, for sure.

let us now take a moment to count danny’s automobiles. there are the two ride-ons that we have inside (and we’ve already given away one other), and he has two vehicles outside. one is a hand-me-down from ben-formerly-up-the-street, and the other is a truck i found at a thrift store for $4. and that one, i have to admit, is HOT. here he is loading up some precious cargo for a spin around the backyard, also affectionately known as the sea of concrete. it doesn’t really drive straight, more like in circles. but really, that just makes it fit in. character, you know.

What’s awesome is how he loaded up the back with the balls and then decided to get in. Oh you forgot to mention that his truck is missing a door.
Oh and four of ours run. Of those four, three of them can be driven fine in the summer, three of them can be driven fine in the winter. There is some overlap. I like to spread the features out among multiple vehicles. I mean why own a nice Corvette ZR1 when you can own six vehicles with a combined horsepower rating over well over 1000 horsepower. I rest my case.
Last thought. someone please come steal them. just leave two of the driving ones for us, preferably the ones with working AC and heat.

You can always pile up in Danny’s truck and go for a spin (literally). Is he a good driver? If he’s missing the driver side door, does he wear a seat belt?, especilly with all that horsepower!!

From henceforth I am referring to this truck as “Big Pappa.” ‘Cause you know, it was after some delish food that this amazing vehicle was discovered. And because I think it sounds rad. ‘Cause Danny’s rad and all.

I wish Danny could drive me around in his sweet ride(s). I am sure he is an excellent driver.
