whenever danny sees ernie anywhere, he pats his head. that’s because ernie taught him how to pat his head one day while he was watching sesame street. ernie also wears saddle shoes, in case you’re searching desperately for the connection. here are danny and his colson cousins on easter. all four sisters now have at least one representative in this annual photo-op. we are planning a world takeover, and this is just a small sampling of our aspirations for our massive army. i’ve maybe had too much coffee.

You Colson girls are on a coffee kick lately! Danyelle hit me up on IM last week out of no where, and was talking like she was on crack, it was like talking to Emmett on Kool-Aid. Her excuse? A Sonic Java-Chiller.
I looked forward all year for this picture to be taken, because this year I had a representative. 1st Class Private “Cubby Cute Butt” reporting for Easter Photo Cuteness.

Here’s what my eyes saw upon first viewing…a male version of Danyelle holding a newish baby, while a miniature version of Kelly stands next to an adorable Easter-esque Danny in his Ernie shoes. Sorry Dylan, Benjamin and Aidan (sp?)…y’all were just the background dudes in this one. But that’s upon first viewing…for me…just so you know.

Has my mom seen those shoes? If she had pointed out they were Ernie shoes to me, I might have taken them off never.
