this is our child enjoying some birthday gifts. he has a piano with working microphone that he is using to broadcast his experience of riding down the street in his insanely tricked-out radio flyer. nana came back on the day after the party so my husband could take me to one of my favorite restaurants and the opera as a delayed anniversary date. he’s pretty much a big deal, as i’ve mentioned before, i think. as is his mother, who spent i don’t know how long exactly locating and purchasing this wagon. looks like they had a great time with it, though.

here’s a picture my favorite big deal took while convincing his brother-in-law to ride in the back of a truck with three dozen balloons. the moped was discussed, but cooler heads prevailed.
