what a great woman

please forgive me as i am typing this on my sharp zaurus while sitting at atlanta bread company. pictures will come later.

i woke up this morning around 10:30am after my phone ringing. it was my cheerful mommy calling to say good morning. i didnt asnswer it because i went to bed this morning around 4:30am and was still tired when the phone rang….

i sat around and checked on some work things after taking the children out to use the lucious green yard as the restroom.

i originally thought i would go to atlanta bread company and surf the internet (driving the vw of course). after putting some thought into it i decided that a bicycle ride would be nice and i could take my powerbook and relax….

so i loaded up and grabbed my camera, pda, sunglasses, ipod shuffle, garage door opener, pager and cell phone. i keep a key in my bike bag so there was no need to go into my jeans (i usually leave everything in my pants after removing them at night).

many minutes later i am preparing the bike, myself (sunscreen, nutrition), and my bag of items….kind of frantically rushing as to not waste a day.

i push off, closing the garage door behind and smile as i try to get back in the phase of riding a bike. a mile and a few lil neighboorhood roads and i am on the ‘comet cruising. it took a couple of miles but i loosened up a good bit.

a little foo fighters action on the ipod and everything is going great. about 50 minutes and looks like ive done about 10 miles and abc is near…

“wait where’s my wallet?”

it was back in my pants at home. i whipped out the pda and decide to chill and aim some folks. talking to kelly and telling her my story of the lost wallet she tells me she will be right back. about 2 minutes later the abc man comes out with a cup and 3 cookies.

i was pretty confused at first but then realized where kelly had gone. :-)

i love you kelly. thank you for taking care of me. you are a precious person and i cant wait to spend the rest of my life with you.
